Who's Noah? (about me)
Me and my goofy son Menachem.
I got married in 2021 (shout-out to Chaya!) and moved to NYC.
After six months of little income, I found an opening at
chabad.org and have been happily working there ever since.
3 years and 2 kids later (Menachem and Yossi), we decided that the East Coast was not Midwest enough.
We moved back to WI in 2024.
Skills & Experience
Since July of 2021, I've been working at
chabad.org. I briefly tried the editorial department, but soon realized that my true calling was in software development.
My day-to-day work is quite varied, but normally includes:
- Automating the conversion of InDesign files into our custom XHTML (I've gotten very good at RegEx and XML parsing)
- Full-stack web development of internal software
- Writing & reviewing technical documentation
- Database imports for our custom Salesforce environment
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Frontend development (HTML, CSS, JS, JQuery)
- PHP (I use this for my clients' websites)
- SQL, SQL Server (query optimization, efficient database stucture)

- Webhosting technical knowledge (SEO, CDNs & caching, DNS, security, etc.)
